From Online Learning to Real-World Internship

Mr. Priyesh Srivastava, a postgraduate in Hotel Management, brings 12 years of combined industry and academic experience. He has worked with prestigious five-star hotels, including Radisson Blu Kaushambi, The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi, and Shangri-La Eros Hotel, New Delhi, gaining 7 years of industry expertise. With 5 years of academic experience, he specializes in restaurant and bar operations training and is a Barstart and Barsmart Graduate from Pernod Ricard, USA. Mr. Srivastava was honored with the Best Teacher Award for Food and Beverage Management in October 2022.

Md. Shadab Naseed

Assistant Professor

An alumnus of IHM Jodhpur, with over 11 years of experience, including 7 years in the industry and 4 in academics, he has worked with renowned hotels like The Oberoi Cecil Shimla, The Oberoi Gurugram, and Hotel Hilton Ras-Al-Khaimah (UAE). Holding a Master's in Hotel Management from Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University, he is a patented designer of a sensor-based quality control system for food and beverage.

Shefali Narang

Assistant Professor

Ms. Shefali, a Certified Hospitality Trainer from the Ministry of Tourism & NCHMCT, holds a Master’s in Travel and Tourism Management from IGNOU and is an alumna of IHM Guwahati. With 9+ years of experience, she has contributed to curriculum development for IGNOU and Sri Sanskar School of Etiquette. Passionate about education, she views learning as a lifelong investment.

Chef Pankaj K. Singh

Assistant Professor

Chef Pankaj Kumar Singh, an MBA (HR) graduate from Madurai Kamraj University and a B.Sc. (H & H.A.) alumnus of IHM Ahmedabad, has 14 years of experience in hospitality and academics. Specializing in Food Production and Management, he has been active in the industry since 2007 and is a certified instructor by AHLEI, USA. Chef Pankaj has also participated in various national conferences.

Chef and Culinary Expert

Chef Apaar, brings over 12 years of industry experience, having successfully opened 12 restaurants in both India and Canada. His expertise spans across managing high-revenue establishments and increasing restaurant sales through innovative culinary strategies. As an Executive Chef, he has overseen multiple cuisines, ensuring the highest standards of food safety with the implementation of HACCP procedures.

Dr. Moushumi Banerjee

Dr. Moushumi is a dedicated academician with 20 years of teaching experience in Hotel Management. She holds a Ph.D. in Management and has served in esteemed institutions such as IHM Meerut, MJPRU Bareilly, and IFTM University, Moradabad. She also held the position of Head of the Department at SRMS Department of Hospitality. With over five years of industry experience as an Executive Housekeeper at East Lite Hotel, Bareilly, she seamlessly integrates practical knowledge into her teaching.
