Smita Bharti

Exp 25 Years

Smita Bharti is an Indian social activist, writer and director. She has worked on over 20 plays with communities spanning social, class and age strata. Through research, training, workshops, performances, campaigns and publications, she works extensively and intensively with women and adolescents on sexual abuse issues. Since 2004, Smita has directed over 20 plays, worked on films, video installations, interactive exhibitions and audiobooks

Dheeraj Sarthak

DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKER

With 25+ years in television media, Dheeraj Sarthak is a senior journalist, writer, producer, and concept creator. He has worked with leading news networks including TV9 Bharatvarsh, News18 India (IBN7), Aaj Tak, and Zee News, and contributed to digital platforms such as YourStory and YouTube. His acclaimed work includes documentaries like Sundarbans: Rising Water, Ebbing Life and the short film Society (MX Player). He is also a seasoned film copywriter, Hindi fiction writer, and translator.

Arghya Kayal

SCRIPTWRITER| FILMMAKER

A scriptwriter and associate director with experience across independent and production-backed projects. A postgraduate in Film & Screenplay Writing from SRFTI, he began with short films such as Goalpost (2018), selected at the 2019 Kolkata International Film Festival. He has collaborated with Double Half Production, Storiculture, and on independent projects, and served as writer and associate director on the feature Check In Cheque Out, co-produced by Techno India Group and Novotel. His work focuses on slice-of-life comedy dramas marked by warmth, wit, and emotional depth.

Ritwik Sinha

Screenwriter

A Kolkata-based screenwriter and filmmaker, Ritwik Sinha is an alumnus of St. Xavier’s College and SRFTI. His feature debut A Knock on the Door premiered at the Rotterdam International Film Festival and won the Bimal Roy Award at WFF Kolkata. He has written for series, films, advertising, and theatre, with notable work including the Hindi series Brown (pilot at Berlinale 2023). Ritwik has also taught at leading institutions and currently works as a publicity professional with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Arunesh Kripal

Filmmaker and Co-founder

Arunesh Kripal is a filmmaker and co-founder of Emic Frame Pvt. Ltd., with over eight years of experience in documentaries, branded content, and narrative films. His debut documentary Pandits of Pilgrims received festival recognition. He is currently in post-production on his documentary feature Govinda Aala Re and is developing original film and series projects focused on visually driven, culturally grounded storytelling.
